When we made the plan for landscaping the backyard, it was quite apparent that what little habitat value it offered was about to be removed. Anxious that the wildlife should suffer as little as possible in the process I decided to install nest boxes for possums, birds and bats in the garden. However, I suddenly found myself time-rich a few months ago, but relatively money poor. Coincidentally, I came across the fauNature company and offered to make them a web page in return for some nest boxes. The page is now up and running and I think its time to break out some champagne. Two nest boxes are up in trees (although I don't know if anyone lives in them yet) with 5 more to go!
