Sowing Oats!

In an attempt to keep the denuded hillside on the hillside of our garden, we are planning to plant a cover crop as soon as the bobcats are finished. To that end, we drove to Coopers Rural Hardware to get some seeds. However, in the middle of the coldest month we had very few options and Mr Cooper advised us to plant oats. Although he did add "The galahs will follow you home!". So we now have a boot load of oats waiting for the opportunity to be sown. Haven't seen any galahs yet.
